Where were you?

Where were you when our lives changed forever?? I remember it like it was yesterday and can't believe it's been 9 years....

I think too many people have forgotten about that day, the images aren't so fresh and the pain has subsided....but it hasn't for the families that are still dealing with the loss....for the people that just can't forget...

Today I am saying prayers for those families, for the children and friends... Today I am saying prayers for our political leaders...Please join me...

Thanks for remembering. I'm not a military family, but I will never forget that day. I think it was the day I truly grew up in my mind. I was an 18 yr old new wife and mom, my son was 11 months at the time and this was the first dose of war I have ever seen other than pictures of the Gulf War. I was dozing listening to the radio when it started airing live coverage and I thought I was dreaming it since the sounds mixed with my dreams. I woke up thinking "oh my goodness, that was the craziest dream!" Then reality of what happened set in while I turned on national news.

Technically, I am untouched by this, physically, but as an American, I feel violated. This day SHOULD be remembered and our troops SHOULD be remembered for immediately fighting for the innocent lost that day as well as the rest of us.

I give your family a hug today and thank you for sharing yourselves as a troop family. God bless you and God Bless America!

How could anyone ever forget? The unspeakable pain that thousand felt and are still feeling. The lives of men, women and children that will never be the same again. I will never forget that day! I don't want to ever forget... I want to always be able to remember and pray for the ones that lost loved ones. We all lost something that day and all of us were changed in many ways.
